WALLY'S DELICATESSEN STORE EXPANSION 2009
Our new expanded premises!
Monday, 8th June 2009, marked the dawn of a bright new era at Wally's Delicatessen as we opened our new, expanded premises to customers for the first time.
As many of you will know, we have been trading from our shop in the Royal Arcade in Cardiff for over 28 years. During that time, our product range has increased steadily and it became necessary to expand in order to continue to meet the needs of our customers.
Consequently, we were recently able to acquire the lease for the adjoining premises and this enabled us to double our floor space and further expand our range of speciality foods and drinks.
This refurbishment is the result of many months of planning and had the full support and backing of my late father, Wally, who played a major role in drawing up the plans. Sadly, Dad died before he was able to see the result of our joint efforts, but I hope that he would be pleased with our new look.

On Sunday, 7th June 2009, we held a Special Preview Function to celebrate the opening of our new enlarged shop. There was Champagne for the adults, ice creams for the kids and product samplings and tastings for everyone. Here are some of the photos from that event:
