These Terms and Conditions of Sale are goverened by the laws of England and Wales.
Our minimum order value is £10 excluding the delivery charge.
It is our aim to despatch all orders within 48 hours of receipt of order. In certain circumstances we reserve the right to extend this. Such circumstances include whilst we are waiting for products to come into stock or so that, in our opinion, the products will arrive with you in peak condition. We will inform you by email or telephone if there is to be a delay in despatching your order. Alternatively, you may request us to hold the despatch of your order until a particular date. If any products are out of stock at the point of despatch you will not be charged for those products. Unless you inform us otherwise, we reserve the right to provide you with a suitable substitute product as an alternative to the out of stock product without informing you prior, if we believe it is of a similar type and value and we believe should be acceptable to you. Out of stock products are not kept on back order and will need to be re-ordered.
We are only able to deliver to addresses with a UK post code. We do not deliver overseas, to BFPO addresses or to P.O. boxes.
Deliveries that do not require chilling during transport are made using our standard courier service Parcelforce 24. This is a service which guarantees delivery by the next working day close of business to most destinations in Zone 1. Delivery to most destinations in Zones 2 and 3 is normally two working days. Exceptions to these stated delivery times for certain postcodes in outlying areas can be found by clicking here.
The charge for this service to Zone 1 destinations is £8.50 per parcel up to a maximum weight of 25 kg each and to Zones 2 and 3 destinations the charge is £17.00.
Deliveries which contain products that require chilling during transport are made using our express courier service, Parcelforce 10. This is a service which guarantees delivery to most destinations in Zone 1 by 10.00 am the next working day. Postcodes in outlying areas where this service is not currently available can be found by clicking here. If you add a product that requires chilling during transport to your cart you will automatically be charged the rate for the Parcelforce Express service. Goods that require chilling will be packaged in a separate insulated cool box or bag, packed on frozen gel packs or ice packs for temperature control.
The charge for this service to Zone 1 destinations is £10.50 per parcel up to a maximum weight of 25 kg each and to Zones 2 and 3 destinations the charge is £21.00.
Parcelforce deliveries to UK destinations are categorised into the following zones:
Zone 1 - England, Wales and parts of Scotland, excluding the Highlands and Islands.
Zone 2 - The Highlands and Islands of Scotland. This includes the following postcodes: IV1-36, IV40-49, IV51-56, KA27-28, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-41, PH42-44, PH49-50, KW1-3, KW5-17, ZE1-3, HS1-9
Zone 3 - Northern Ireland, Isles of Man, Isle of Scilly. This includes the following postcodes: IM1-9, IM99, TR21-25, BT21-26, BT29-35, BT38-94
Please note that larger or more bulky orders may need to be spread over more than one parcel, in which case there will be a separate charge per parcel.
Despatches will be sent Monday through to Thursday. We do not despatch on Fridays as we prefer not to have food in transit over a weekend.
If you would like to specify an alternative delivery address or additional delivery instructions, please do so in the box provided for that purpose when you check out.
Please ensure that someone is available to sign for the parcel, or include instructions with your order for leaving the parcel with a neighbour. Please note that your parcel will not be left without a signature unless we have forwarded your instructions to the contrary. In the event that your parcel cannot be left, a card will be left showing that an attempted delivery was made, indicating at which depot the parcel can be collected or where arrangements can be made for re-delivery. If you have any queries on the status of your order please contact us.
If you want to view the status of your order before despatch you can do so by logging into your account at any time to check how it's doing. If you want to track your order after despatch you can do so as our delivery services are trackable. When your parcel is despatched you will be sent an email confirming the despatch. Within this email there will be a Tracking Number which you can use to track the progress of your order with Parcelforce. Simply go to www.parcelforce.com and enter your tracking number.
We shall not be liable for any failure to deliver, or for any loss or liability whatsoever arising from such failure, if we fail to deliver due to circumstances beyond our control. These circumstances include if we receive an incomplete or inaccurate delivery address.
Returns & Refunds
We aim for all deliveries to reach you in perfect condition and within the specified time but in the event that an exception occurs you have the right to a refund.
Any claims for errors, breakages, damaged, missing or late goods must be made within 24 hours of their receipt. Where a valid claim is determined we shall replace the goods free of charge or offer you a full refund for the goods, including the delivery charge. We reserve the right to request that the goods be returned to us in which event we will refund the cost of returning them. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Refunds will be made using the original payment method.

In our dealings with you we work on the assumption that all sales are to private consumers for domestic and private use, you are at least 18 years old and are legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
We endeavour to maintain the accuracy of all descriptions, images and prices of products that appear on our website. However, the products you receive may very slightly from that displayed on our website. All products are subject to availability.
A legally binding contract between us is only struck once we have accepted your offer to purchase from us by despatching your order. Property and title in and to the goods ordered by you shall not pass to you until we have received payment in cleared funds for the price of the goods and the goods have been despatched to you.
You do not have to be registered with us as a customer to purchase from the website but, if you do register, you'll find that it makes shopping with us easier and faster. All your details will be saved securely in "My Account" for you to amend at any time.
When you place an order on our website you will be asked for personal information regarding delivery and payment. Once you have provided this information and confirmed your order you will be sent a confirmation email to confirm that we have received and are processing your order. We will send you another email when your order has been despatched which will include a tracking number. Once you have received your despatch confirmation we will not be able to make any changes to your order details.
Payment may be made in pounds sterling only by Mastercard, Visa, Delta, Switch, Electron or American Express. Payment will be debited from your account upon despatching your order and not when the order is placed. You will only be charged for goods that are despatched to you.
For perishable products that require cutting or slicing we endeavour to cut or slice as close to the the ordered quantity as possible. However, we reserve the right to amend the product quantity and price if we deliver to you a quantity less than or in excess of that ordered.
You have a legal right to cancel your contract with us within 14 days of delivery without giving any reason, unless the goods ordered by you are perishable in nature and liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly. You may cancel the contract by contacting us making a clear statement that you wish to cancel the contract and providing details of the contract you wish to cancel. If you cancel the contract between us you must return the purchased goods to us at your own cost and without undue delay and we will issue a refund for the goods and delivery charge only when we have received the goods back in good condition.
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms and Conditions of Sale or our negligence, but we are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable.
We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under a contract that is caused by an event outside of our control.
We will not be liable to you for any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) our website or your use of or reliance upon any content on our website.
In the event that we fail to meet our high standards, please do not hesitate to contact us in writing, by email or by telephone. We aim to provide an initial response within 24 hours from receipt although this may be extended during busy periods.
